Why Sign4ERA.org?
The purpose of Sign4ERA is to build massive nationwide pressure on Members of Congress, candidates for Congress, the Presidency and, in fact elected officials at all levels of government to cease treating women as second-class citizens by granting them equality in the U.S. Constitution.
How Sign4ERA.org Works
The sole purpose of Sign4ERA.org is to collect Petition signers to support the ERA. And to then keep each signer informed on the progress of getting the ERA into the Constitution.
Why Do We Need an Equal Rights Amendment?
Politicians change. Partisan Majorities in legislature change. Courts change. Consequently, today’s legislation or court decisions granting rights can too quickly become tomorrow’s denial of rights.
